It is one of the few national parks safe for hiking, with sweeping geographical features including deep gorges, red-colored cliffs, rock towers, hot springs, and geysers among others.

7:30 am
Hell’s Gate National Park Day trip starts after breakfast with an early pick-up by our driver guide.

8:45 am
Stop over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint on the eastern escarpment to see Mt Longonot, Mt Suswa, and the expansive floor of the Rift Valley.

10:00 am
Arrival at the hells gate national park bike riding (optional) and walking safari. Your guide will assist you to hire a good bike for the hells gate bike ride. Hells Gate guided walking safari starts immediately from the gate in the company of an experienced guide. (Bike ride is optional)

1:00 pm
Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Hell’s Gate National Park picnic site with a view of the park and as you watch the animals walking around. We can also include a proper buffet lunch (optional) at any of the 4-star properties dotting Lake Naivasha.

2:00 pm
You can go for a further walking safari in Hell’s Gate National Park or visit Lake Naivasha to enjoy an optional boat ride and see hippos, birds, and the best views of the mountains beyond—an optional visit to Mvuke Spa, home to Africa's biggest naturally heated swimming pool.

3:30 pm
Depart Naivasha for Nairobi and arrive at 6:00 p.m. with a drop-off at your hotel or JKIA Nairobi for your outbound flight. This marks the end of your 1-day Hell’s Gate National Park hiking tour.
